CFA Special Networking Night
On June 19th, the Han River - CFA Special Networking Night event, hosted by CFA Society Korea, was truly fantastic with perfect weather, a variety of guests, delicious food and wine, and music.
The event welcomed a total of 110 attendees, including CFA Society Korea members, CFA Program candidates, sponsors, special guests, and stakeholders, all aboard a chartered cruise. The approximately 2-hour event provided participants with a refreshing and exciting escape from their daily routines, offering a delightful and enjoyable time.
We sincerely thank everyone who attended and are pleased to share some key photos from the event.

On June 18, Andrew Shin, CFA, Auditor, and Sehwan (Sean) Kang, MD, participated in a breakfast seminar of the Seoul Financial Forum as representatives of CFA Society Korea.
At the seminar, Eric Teo, the Ambassador of Singapore to Korea, presented on the topic "The Singapore Story & the Journey with South Korea: Reflections & Beyond the Horizon."
The Seoul Financial Forum is a distinguished nonprofit organization founded by current and former financial executives, academic experts, and former key policymakers, aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of Korea`s financial industry and contributing to the ongoing development of the Korean economy. This year marks the 23rd anniversary of its establishment.
Over the past years, the forum`s events have featured speakers including former Ministers of Strategy and Finance, Governors of the Bank of Korea, Chairpersons of the Financial Services Commission, Directors of the Financial Supervisory Service, and Nobel Laureates in Economics.
Notably, in June, CFA Society Korea became a special institutional member of the Seoul Financial Forum. Additionally, the forum`s chairmanship is now held by Kyungwook Hur, CFA, the most senior member of CFA Society Korea who has made significant contributions over a long period for the society. Kyungwook Hur, a former ambassador to the OECD and the first Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance, is one of the most influential CFA members in Korea.
We are thankful to the Seoul Financial Forum and Kyungwook Hur for providing CFA Society Korea with an exceptional opportunity to build networks with various institutions and figures. CFA Society Korea is committed to enhancing Korea`s financial competitiveness as an active member of the Seoul Financial Forum.

🌿CFA Roadshow at SKK (Sungkyunkwan) University
On June 5, the CFA Roadshow was successfully held at SKK (Sungkyunkwan) University in Seoul, attended by about 40 undergraduate students from 7 PM to 9:45 PM.
The CFA Roadshow introduces the CFA Program to students aspiring to enter the financial field and provides an opportunity to gain various practical experiences and insights from speakers, including CFA Charterholder CEOs and practitioners.
For this SKK (Sungkyunkwan) University Roadshow, Don Chung(정동우) CFA, Sungho Ha, CFA, Rakhyeon Song CFA, JunMin Kim CFA, Brian Shim(심성훈) CFA, and Sehwan (Sean) Kang, (Managing Director), participated as speakers from CFA Society Korea.
